WOW, been a busy time of catch up since returning from Michigan. LOTS of stuff happening...family moving around and changing jobs (including Tom possibly). The 'national' weathermen were talking this morning about how the central and eastern states are girding their loins for a ice and snow storm.  carrying on about what a mess it will be.  maybe 3-6" inches of snow.

Tuesday morning at 0730 sharp, I get a call from Jen @ UC...I make a comment about the 'early bird" etc and she says she had been waiting since 0630 to call.

I wrote about this already but more information reveals her efforts at a fervent appeal directly to the pharmaceutical company on my behalf .

Nice visit with Colorado Springs daughter, s.i.l. and g-babies, er kids.  Always good to see dear friend Gloria and her significant other, Mark.  Wasn't feeling all that skippy, but managed to pull off the long drive and some cherished time with some of those I hold dearest :)

I set up our new alarm clock - it has the most GINORMOUS NUMBERS that I have ever seen.  Even with my awful vision I can actually see it without my glasses.  We laughed that there was a neon glow to the bedroom.  Fortunately I found one of the 4 thousand knobs that adjusted the "glow".  It has a weather band amd regular clock functions, but why I ( Read more... )
